The inventory feature is for when you wish to count down limited inventory stock. When inventory runs out, the item will no longer be available to buy on your menu. Inventory is set product by product.
To set up inventory management, go to Menu > Edit menu > Edit item > Toggle on Track Inventory > Save changes

Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Go To Your Item
First, navigate to your menu by clicking on “Menus” on the sidebar or by clicking on “Edit menu” on your store window.
Find the item you want to track inventory for and click on “Edit”.
Step 2: Enable Track Inventory
Toggle on “Track Inventory” and enter the stock count/units you want to sell for the item.
Step 3: (Optional) Track Inventory For Modifiers
You can also keep track of your modifiers by using the same feature.
Click on the pen icon to enter the edit modifier popup. Then toggle on “Track Inventory” and add the stock count for that modifier item.
Click on “Save changes” once done.
