Troubleshooting for Lightspeed (K-series) Sync Menu

The Sync Menu of Lightspeed is one of, if not the most convenient function of having Lightspeed direct integration. Any changes done on your Lightspeed menu can easily be reflected on storekit with a click of a button.

Syncing your Menu on Storekit

  1. Navigate to "Menus" and find the menu you want to edit.

  2. You can either:

    1. Click on the "Sync menu" button that appears on the main menu list page

    2. Click on "Edit Menu" to enter the menu editing page, then click on "Sync menu".


How to Check Which Menu is Being Used

  1. Go to "Store Settings", scroll down to "Integrations", then click on "Lightspeed".

  2. You will see the current menu being used under the "Lightspeed Menu" section. Click on the dropdown to see/select other menus to use.

  3. Click on "Save" once done.


Troubleshooting: Common Issues & Fixes

Why is my menu not syncing?

Here are things to watch out for:

Correct menu setup (on Lightspeed):

  1. Combos set up as: Combo - Item group - Items

    On storekit these will show up as Item (Combo) - Modifier (item group name) choices under modifiers (end items).

  2. Do not leave "Item POS name" empty. If any item has no value, the sync will fail.

  3. For shared menus or multiple venues using the same items, please make sure all items/groups/combos are shared on the menu; if one of item/group/combo is set to local the menu will not sync.

    Note: Any changes made on Lightspeed requires you to reload the active device to be able to sync properly.
