How To Add Store Notices

Keep customers informed of important updates by adding store notices on storekit. This guide walks you through the setup in just a few steps.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Log Into Your Storekit Dashboard

  1. Go to the storekit dashboard and log in.

  2. Navigate to “Stores” at the sidebar and click on “Settings”.

Step 2: Add Store Notice

  1. In your store settings, click on “Store Notices”.

  2. Click on “Add notice” to create your first store notice.

  3. Here, you can add your store notice Title, the message to display, choose the style, and where you want the store notice to appear on the menu.

  4. Store notices can be set in different styles: Default (no styling), Warning (Yellow), Info (Blue), or Success (Green).

You can add multiple store notices and and here’s what they look like displayed in different parts of the menu.

Note: If you have multiple store notices, you can only set one notice to appear on the checkout pop up.

Step 3: (Optional) Remove a Store Notice

  1. To remove a store notice from customer view simply untick the box "Show on". The store notice will be saved on your account and ready to reactivate whenever necessary.

If you'd like to show a message at the bottom of your menu instead, go to Settings > Branding > Menu Notice. We'll automatically make links clickable.

Just below Menu Notice, you can also customise the message shown to customers when your store is set to not accept orders (Settings > General > Close store). Don't forget to hit “Save”!
